Twelve Capital Event Update

12 September 2022

We are passing through the peak of the 2022 Hurricane season but there are no storms in the Atlantic, and none are predicted to form within the next five days.

Over the last week there were storms on both sides of the Pacific. Typhoon Hinnamnor made landfall near Busan, South Korea as a category 2 storm on 5 September, and Hurricane Kay made landfall in central Baja California, Mexico on 8 September, with heavy rainfall also impacting southern California.

The Pacific continues to see high activity with Typhoon Muifa heading towards Shanghai, China where it is predicted to landfall ca 14 September as a category 1 storm.

None of the current events are predicted to impact any Twelve Capital positions but Twelve Capital continues to closely monitor any catastrophe events and will issue specific updates on any relevant new major events that occur.
