Twelve Analytics, an independent affiliate of Twelve Capital, is owner of our unique risk management and reporting platform
CatEye with focus on Insurance-linked Securities (ILS).
- CatEye’s HISTORY goes back to 2008 when the decision was taken to build an in-house risk management platform. It was driven by great dispersion of ILS data over various data sources and by limited data availability. There was no commercially available risk management solution around which would effectively cover the broad variety of ILS risks.
- CatEye’s INTELLIGENCE is embedded in the extensive database of cat bonds. It contains a complete set of non-life and life bonds since 2002 (total outstanding universe plus already matured bonds). Each bond is filed with detailed information about its structure, price history, peril information – probabilities, triggers, reset and geographic exposure with granularity on the state and country level and many more.
- CatEye’s data QUALITY is assured by diligent data entry and data control process. All the information is entered and checked following a 6 eye principle, i.e. 3 independent reviewers look at the same piece of information and only if it passes through all three reviews it is considered to be finalized and may be used. Data entries are logged and can be AUDITED any time.
- CatEye’s FLEXIBILITY enables its user to setup portfolios and order them to form a portfolio hierarchy. It also allows for definition of user’s own reporting perils, regions and categories.
- With respect to potential future DEVELOPMENTS, the application is modular and open for developments in various directions.
